M/M Paris designs Prada alphabet
M/M Paris has designed an alphabet for Prada, the Pradalphabet, and accompanying T-shirts to launch at the Milan Furniture Fair.
Art directors M/M Paris - made up of Mathias Augustyniak and Michael Amzalag - have designed an alphabet specifically for Prada, called the Pradalphabet, and a set of T-shirts to go along with it.
Having worked for many different and highly reputable fashion companies before - as well as momentarily art-directing Interview Magazine last year - M/M Paris is particularly interested in typography and has previously created over 50 different typefaces which it regularly uses in its projects.
The Pradalphabet T-shirts, which will debut at Milan Design Week in mid-April, will also be available for purchase at Prada stores. A 64-page album will accompany the T-shirts, explaining the design of the 26 letters along with an essay by Italian writer and philosopher Federico Nicolao.

LOUIS VUITTON COSMIC BLOSSOM
The Japanese Neo-Pop artist behind the cult reinterpretations of Louis Vuitton's classic Monogram canvas, Takashi Murakami is going back to the drawing board for their S/S '10 collection. With 'Cosmic Blossom', Takashi Murakami's vision has found a new canvas with a bright, block colour background where Louis Vuitton's iconic Monogram flowers jostle playfully with smiling flower faces, a recurrent theme in Murakami's art, which famously fuses manga graphics with traditional Japanese pictorial motifs. Shooting Daisy Lowe in Miami as part of their campaign, the line comes in three shades on leather goods, ready-to-wear and accessories from a silkscreen-printed vinyl canvas, and a convenient holdall in two sizes, joined by the iconic Pochette Accessories, emblazoned with a heritage Louis Vuitton signature. The Cosmic Blossom motif also makes an appearance on T-shirts and scarves, bandanas, bikinis and shoes lighting up summer days with irresistible candy colours. The limited-edition Cosmic Blossom collection is available in Louis Vuitton stores from 15th April 2010.
