JEAN PAUL GAULTIER LEAVES HERMÈS

After 7 years of collaboration, Jean Paul Gaultier stepped down from Hermès and pays tribute to Jean Louis Dumas, deceased recently. He left the famous saddler in good terms and says that he “shared a lot of emotions” and that he “learned a real know how”.

Jean-Paul Gaultier wants to focus on his own line and projects. He is still at the head of his collection for women (Couture and ready-to-wear) and men. On the other hand the designer is going to show his furniture project in June. Jean-Paul Gaultier will show his last collection for Hermès next October in Paris.

His successor will be Christophe Lemaire, main designer for Lacoste.
