One of Tokyo’s most popular Starbucks cafes underwent some renovations over the weekend, and fittingly the cafe was design by Hiroshi Fujiwara with the location set in the centre of Harajuku. Given the title “b-side”, the cafe enjoys a quite unique design with the fitting like no other. The two story cafe now includes a quite distinctive outdoor area while the combination of materials used makes for a refined finish with wooden and leather furniture matched with concrete walls and tiles used to great effect. Completing the design is a slogan bearing “Careful, the beverage you’re about to enjoy is extremely hot” highlighted by a neon tube light sign on the feature wall.
Um dos cafés Starbucks mais popular de Tokyo passou por algumas renovações no fim de semana, e apropriadamente projetada pelo designer Hiroshi Fujiwara localizado no centro de Harajuku.
Com o título “b-side”, o café tem um design bastante original e equipado como nenhum outro. O café de dois andares, agora inclui uma área externa completamente diferente, enquanto a combinação de materiais utilizados dão um acabamento requintado com mobiliários em madeira e couro combinados com paredes de concreto e telhas usadas em grande efeito.
