CONVERSE Music Collaboration - 15 Influential Artists Celebrating UK Music

With BRIT Rock icon Bernard Sumner leading the way, footwear label CONVERSE along with 15 influential musical talents, celebrate the legacy and vibrancy of England’s music. Fans can download, for FREE, the first of 2 original songs, Didn’t Know What Love Was, performed by Bernard Sumner (New Order, Joy Division), Alexis Taylor and Joe Goddard of the band Hot Chip and DJ duo of Hot City. As part of the project, CONVERSE created a chain link image of the 15 artists involved, starting:

Paloma Faith, Bill Ryder-Jones, Michael Hibbert, Graham Coxon, Mez from The Heat, Hudson Mohawke, Tigs from Chew Lips, Tom Hudson from Pulled Apart by Horses, Alexis Taylor from Hot Chip, Bernard Sumner, Joe Goodard form Hot Chip, Benz from Hot City, DJ Haus from Hot City, Laura-Mary Cart form Blood Red Shoes, Lewis Bowman from Chapel Club.

Part of CONVERSE’s year-long Connectivity campaign, the commemoration is not merely about the musicians or music scene as a whole, but about the emotional attachments we all have with music.

Part 2 of the project will be release during January of next year.
