Much is made of the concept that Japanese brand Muji apply to each and every facet of the business, whether it be clothing and home goods or food and furniture. This latest initiative has seen Muji build a series of houses, bringing the idea of a “Muji Home” to reality. Centred on a philosophy of “living in the form of thinking” there is a strong emphasis on environmentally friendly living with a focus on a clean and comfortable feel.

Possibly the world’s best known sculptor, and certainly one of the most important names in contemporary art, Anish Kapoor is known as the “Engineer of the Impossible”. This film is a portrait directed by Peter Schwerfel of the Indian born artist. The DVD is in French, but whether you can understand or not, the visuals will be worth it alone.

For the latest edition of the Monumenta series of contemporary art, British artist born in India, Anish Kapoor, occupied the huge free space at the Grand Palais in Paris with a balloon of 75,000 cubic meters filling most of the art noveau building . The "skin" is PVC vinyl, just thicker than the skin of a balloon.

Untitled "Leviathan, " which opened last Wednesday and runs through June 23rd surprise you by its size and the sensation that causes to the visitors.

Para a última edição da Monumenta, série de arte contemporânea, o artista britânico nascido na Índia, Anish Kapoor, ocupou o enorme espaço no Grand Palais em Paris com um balão de 75.000 metros cúbicos preenchendo a maior parte do prédio em art nouveau. Sua "pele" é de PVC de vinil, apenas mais espessa do que a pele de um balão.

Intitulado de "Leviathan", que abriu na última quarta-feira e vai até 23 de junho surprende pelo seu tamanho e pela sensação que causa aos visitantes.

Alice in Wonderland Restaurant Tokyo | Restaurante Alice no país das maravilhas em Tokyo.

Japanese design studio Fantastic Design Works gives us a look into the fourth installment in a series of Alice in Wonderland restaurants opened by Diamond Dining. Situated in a town fascinated with conceptual eateries, this latest Tokyo establishment features an imaginative combination of psychedelic decorations, dramatic designs and waitresses dressed in Alice costumes. Located in Tokyo’s Ginza shopping district, the restaurant is situated in a 2,254 square-foot space that’s divided into various scenes from the 1951 animated film.

O estudio Japonês, Fantastic Design Works, nos apresenta o interior do quarto de uma série de restaurantes da Alice no país das maravilhas, aberto pela Diamond Dinning. Situado na cidade fascinada por restaurantes temáticos, este último estabelecimento apresenta uma combinação imaginativa de decorações psicodélicas, design dramático e garçonetes vestidas com fantasias de Alice. Localizado no distrito de Ginza, bairro conhecido por suas lojas, o restaurante tem uma área de 2.254 metros quadrados divididos em vários cenários da animação de 1951.

Now playig in Paris, an exhibition devoted to Stanley Kubrick opened at La Cinémathèque Française. It originated in 2004 at the Deutsches Filmmuseum in Frankfurt and was designed by curator Hans-Peter Reichmann in close collaboration with Christiane Kubrick, Jan Harlan and The Stanley Kubrick Archive in London. Over the last few years it has travelled to various cities across the globe including Berlin, Zurich, Rome and Melbourne. The archives contain a number of documents from Kubrick’s productions including scripts, letters, research materials, photos, costumes and props. It also includes materials from films that Kubrick planned but never made, including the Napoleon project from the early 1970s and the Holocaust drama Aryan Papers which he planned in the early 1990s. The layout of the exhibition is designed so each space is dedicated to a film and it takes up two floors of the Frank Gehry building, on the 5th and 7th floors, with large-scale models and interactive digital installations.
