Milan Design Week 2011 once again represented the launch point for some of the design world’s most innovative and aesthetically pleasing furniture collections. The Hermès house was among the latest blockbuster names to dabble in furniture design as artistic director Pierre-Alexis Dumas aligned with Enzo Mari, Antonio Citterio and RDAI Studios to create a selection of sofas, chairs, tables and other different lifestyle accompaniments. The exhibition took place in a house constructed solely out of cardboard which offered an interesting contrast between the fixtures and the housing. The Pavillon Hermès will be available starting this fall.
A semana de design em Milão 2011, mais uma vez representou o ponto de partida para alguns dos designs mais inovadores e esteticamente lindos do mundo mobiliário. A casa Hermès foi um dos últimos grandes nomes a se interessar por design de móveis. Com o diretor artístico Pierre-Alexis Dumas alinhado com Enzo Mari, Antonio Citterio e RDAI Studios, criaram uma coleção de sofás, cadeiras, mesas e outros acessórios para um estilo de vida diferente. A exposição teve lugar em uma casa toda construída de papelão que oferecia um contraste interessante entre as peças e a estrutura. A Hermès Pavillon estará disponível a partir deste Outono.
